Anita Stewart
| Anita Stewart is the Founder of Food Day, a national day in celebration of Canadian ingredients and Canadian agricultural talent. She is the author of 14 books including the best sellers, Flavours of Canada: The Finest in Regional Food and Anita Stewart's CANADA: The Food, The Recipes, The Stories. She is an Advisor to the Governor General for the Award in Celebration of the Nation's Table; has consulted extensively for Agriculture and AgriFood Canada both at the 2010 Olympics and this year's Calgary Stampede and has just returned from the Canadian Chefs Congress. Her familial roots are in north Wellington/south Grey Counties. |
